A certificate will be presented to each walker. A medal will be presented on completion of all four days subject to the age categories detailed below.

| 60 – 74 years | 20km or Ramble | |
| 75 years and over | 10km or 20km |
On Sunday evening at 18.30 hours there is a formal presentation by the mayor of Castlebar of the silver and gold Castlebar International 4 Days Walks medals.
The IML awards, including European Walker and Master Walker, are also presented at this ceremony.
Present medal holders who complete the scheduled walks will be presented with a repeat emblem.
